0Like, I said time and time again and this is for everyone, Blogging doesn't mean minting money, it is something you want to do, by default, you have the chance to interact with people of different communities,people,countries and share your view globally, once you make a good name, you can/would like to monetize your blog, monetizing is only an option.

However, if your doing good to the net community by lauching(legally ) free(paid) softwares, opensource things and other stuffs, there is no harm in asking your readers to donate money or henceforth place ads.
