But it needs a lot of investment aswell... If you are able to gather a lot of support from other members .. we can have a seperate section for equities Create a poll if you like and we can poll the decision out on this one

share market includes a lot of risk and investment too, i don't think its a good idea to go for something like that wihout proper knowledge of market only few tutorials can not help.

yeh thats a good idea, a few tutorials would do the trick, and the rest its up to the person if they want to invest or not.

What a day to decide...today stock market is down by some 600 points:14: though have recovered some points

Back to the topic, yes i am in favour of a new section, but you have to keep a strict filter on the post containing advt. because this section will welcome numerous posts of such kind

If you are planning on a lot of trading then Motilal Oswal is the best and get their software which eleminates the use of browser which normally results in delayed puinching of your trades and some times ends up in huge losses when markets move really fast.

If you are more of a long term investor then it wont make much of a difference ... even brokerage isint an issue in the case and you can go for something more basic like icici direct or share khan may be.

It all really depends on what you are planning to do.

This is one of the best times to start investing... still keeping a 40% reserve is a good idea as another crash is on the cards
You can make a quick buck if you spare some liquidity for times where market is beaten to death and it does happen every year atleast once and most of the times twice a year.

Thanks for your inputs. Greatly Appreciated
Since i'm just starting of i'm gonna start small. Currently i thinking of indiabulls since its office is just next to my house so it'll be easier if have any problems.

Yeah the market is down currently (BSE is at 13.2K) will remain like that for some time ( i'v been watching a lot of news lately) so i plan to get some profit out of it.

Also will keep in mind the 40% reserve thing (this is something u wont find on the net, needs experience i suppose)

gauviz as you might have already read we will start a seperate new section for stock markets and other investment tools in a day or two and we can have a very detailed discussion

As you sound fairly new... a small peice of advise will be : do not push all your money at once... even if it looks like this is a chance of a life time and the market wont plung furthur... it normally does after you have emptied your pockets. I normally do not trade in more then 5% of my total worth in the market... especially when buying.

    Welcome to India broadband

As others specified in the forum investing in stock market is risky task, if we are not going with a proper planning and knowledge. As preeti stated the tutorial would make a lot of difference. To know more information regarding stock market,

Earning via Stock market may look easy ... but its anything but that

The more u know about investment strategies the less risky it ll be for u ...

So its important to do a lot of research before investing in a company......

I completely forgot about this... will open a new subforum on investing soon

For those who are ready to take the dip now ... my advice would be hold your horses and do not invest more then say 25% to 35% of what you plan to invest if its a one time investment as in my opinion we are going to see a major crash in the weeks to come

Staying liquid is the key and just posh in all you have in bluechip stocks once this next crash happens as thats the only one you would see in the mid term.
This major crash I am talking about will bring down our market to new lows and we would never see such lows ever again... (War time and major natural claimities are exceptions).

Dont start going short in anticipation of this crash as it might take more then a month or even 3-4 months but take my word fo it that it will happen
