I don't have a smartphone myself, so, I wouldn't be able to go to your site and download, correct? These are only viewable through mobile phones?

Well, TagTag has very less space on their server, I think you get only 1MB space, I use wen.ru, Its a russian site with 100MB server space. Well, they have an english version too.!!

@Earning from wapsites- There is a provision for Google ads for wapsites on adsense, PLZ register to adsence and get your mobile code/html line and paste it to your site.

As I promised before that I will write an extensive post... before I do that I would like to ask how do you plan to monotize the site? Are you an experienced webmaster or some one who thinks this is something very high potential and you can try your luck with wap sites?

Making money from ads in a wap site? Too much hassel and too little money...
The only way you can make big moollah from a wap site is by getting associated with one of the mobile service provider like airtel and vodafone or even spice and do a revenue sharing thing with them and provide ring tones, wall papers and all that stuff for a charge per download... I know people who do this in UK and they did make a lot of money back in 2003-2004 but that market is so saturated that its tough to land your feet on that ground... those have established their brands are having a lauigh now but if you try getting started now ... they will kill you with all their might.. by hook or crook.. I can gurantee you that there is a lot of money that change hands under the table in this area.

I can write a extended post for you if you are interested in making money from ads revenue but I wont build your hope up.. It will take a lot of effort-investment and luck to achieve a respectable degree of success with ads on a wap site.

I am not the person who can advise you on wap sites for ringtones, wallpapers and all that sort of stuff... You would need a developer for that who has a bit of experience developing such sites.

ya thts there.. admin i completely agree with u.. like there is a lot of hassel.. on top the field is over saturated.. i have wasted almost 1 year of my life in just flipping off wap.. checking wap sites and all.. i can get all softwares.. all ringtones wall papers etc and etc.. with all knowleddge of phones ,,, but but.. i lack in knowledge of makein wap site.. so i think in tht partnership can do the trick.. one will design .. while i can provide raw materials.. and all.. innovative ideas and creativity will be doing both. but still feel it little hard..

if nay1 interested in it.. finding sourrces for uploads can pm me..

still i feel,, admin will be correct.. as like after all wap platform i feel it small.. though its accebility is more than web i think.. as gprs.. comes in a phone on a move ppl can be accesibe for it... dont know.. lets see.. if ppl needs a partner..

@kinkPOP shadowcon is exactly right.. all info detailed i can provide as i have been doing this since many years as a part of my hobby.. but like creating a wapsite will be yours work.. like i can still help u.. if i will have knowledge in it... anytime u wiil be welcomed for any help.. and also partnership business... lol i think can give it a try.. as i feel i have seen wap world.. every thing.. i feel it will be easy than web ...

hey bro.. i think all the peeps ere not that much familiar with the wapworld... i am a professional developer and i am developing the wapsites from last three years.. And according to the stats the wap industry is going to cross the web industry by 2012. And i dont agree with this thing that in wap you can make money by only doing collaboration with mobile companies. There are many good advertising agencies which provide adds for wapsites like Admob.com They pay you on cpc (cost per click) basis or cpm (cost per million impressions) and according to me if you can make a lot of money from wapsites. And if ya want any more info i can help ya..

lots of ads cheats and yes it helps.

i told my sister and she told her friend and like that, we are all using opera mini now. Phones browser we never use except when it comes file downloads(opera mini browser will close when download happenes) so its good to create a site and have mobile related things on it. Cause people watch things on opera mini more.

Wapsites are gone technology now. You should have better browsers. Nowadays the main feeling is to create phone browsers for smart websites which do not open in opera minis present versions and phones browser. Now browsers like bolt even play videos inside the browser itself. It streams. Can do https,. Many more things. Wapsite is just like a text website. And there are less features in it.
