Wanted to know if that is true.....

I mean, in which place in the blog (Top,middle, right side, left side or bottom).
As far as I know only 3 ads units are allowed. Instead of asking other about where to place ads how about if you place ads in different positions and see which set up maximises your revenue and use that in future?

    Hi,

There is no need to register again for the new blog. However you can do so, if you wish.

You are free to use adsense in your new blog with the same publisher id.

No there is no restriction on number of sites but there is a restriction on how many channels you can create... I think its 150 something or something in that range.

    Have few doubts....

We can put adsense ads in two method in our blog...

    Method 1:

    Login to ur blog,
Go to layout section (Page Elements),
    Click on Get a Gadget,
    Click "Adsense.
Choose ur adsense: Ad units or Ad links.
    Save.

    Method 2:

    Login to ur adsense account,
    Click AdSense Setup tab.
    CLick AdSense for Content link
Choose ur adsense: Ad units or Ad links.
    Save and Get Ad Code

    Login to ur blog,
Go to layout section (Page Elements),
    Click on Get a Gadget,
    Click "HTML...."
    Paste the above code.
    Save..

Let me know if there's any other method...

Do we need to follow any specific way (from the above 2) to put ads ?

Indian rupees if you are in India. I get paid by electronic bank transfer as I have a UK address and a UK bank account.

Try different places.. top, left, right, center, within the content any where really and stick to the spots which give you the most revenue.

You can do this another way as the new wordpress script comes with wigets.. Just choose add a widget and paste your adsense code in it and then you can control the position of that widget on your page with a click of a mouse.

    Hope thathelps..

I dont see many people interested in all this... I guess its just a few members here who ar into blogging and websites and stuff..

Yes thats right but you know what you should never rely upon information from any other source but google itself.. Read the terms and conditions carefully and you will get to know a lot of new things.

    Ad Placement
AdSense offers a number of ad formats and advertising products. Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements, provided the following policies are respected:

    • Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
    • A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
    • Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
    • Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.
    • AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
    • No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email.
    • Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
    • No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.
    • No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose
