    Default From Russia With Love

Russia is about to be plunged into limelight because of the recently developed Phantom OS. Just like the name suggests the concept behind the OS is immortality. Usually when a PC is switched off, the contents gets saved in the HDD. Its current state is hence lost when the pc is switched off. But Phantom OS does the reverse, the programs wont loose their current state even when powered down. Its just like Hibernation mode in Windows, but it works always
This is mainly accomplished by the OS taking snapshots of its current state at regular intervals.

that would also mean problem like memory will corrupt the OS in course of use since it just reloads the memory after reboot.

And if an app hangs then point in jus rebooting i guess

that means no option for flushing memory ... hibernation is a good feature but entire system should have an option of being powered down. this can result in serious performance issues in the long run

It sounds like something that we have always wanted.
but I think in the long run it may cause some problems in the performance
