    Default Google chrome OS

The fastest Operating system, google chrome, you can download now.in this, All user data will be hosted on Google’s servers – in the cloud – so any hardware failure will not result in a data loss. Google also said that security will be a big part of the OS, with automatic updates running through the cloud, meaning the user does not have to take any action.

The browser-based OS will enable users to access all the usual online applications, such as email, social network sites like Twitter and Facebook and Google Docs, an online word processing tool.

For more go to my Google Chrome OS thread:

    The prerelease version is here........
To Download the Google Chrome Operating system just go to:

Download Google Chrome OS for free - gdgt

They also have a USB-bootable version, but that requires Linux and could get a little complicated.

It is for you all, at least see it...........

It's great if you have a decent internet connection. It worked fine on my BSNL UL-750.
But it doesn't recognize complex hardware including graphic cards. So don't try it on your desktop/notebook. But it worked really well on my netbook.
For more info you can contact me using pm.

    Thumbs up

I am more familiar with Windows base OS. But when come to web browser, I prefer Google Chrome. Chrome has improved its function where there are some plugin to install to the browser just 2 clicks. I am amazed with the "efficiency" and user-friendliness of Chrome!

Still in the nascent stage. Wait for some more time. No harm in trying though.

Google Chrome keeps older versions of its web browser causing it to balloon in size. I noticed that the Google Chrome App on my Mac was 1.2

I think Google Chrome is a browser and not an OS. If you mean browser, Chrome is my most used browser either in my laptop or my mobile phone.

Your right when you say that chrome is a browser rather than an operating system. It seems that a lot of people do get mixed up between the difference of the two though, and it just shows that while technology is advancing at a rapid pace, people's knowledge is a slower to catch up.

I agree with you. With lots of things people has to learn due to the advent of technology, then our minds go mixed up and use the wrong term.

At the end of the day though, I think a lot of people make too much of it when people use the wrong terminology.

If a person says chrome OS, there's no need to pull them up about it and make them sound foolish like a lot of techies do.

Google Chrome Browser and Google Chrome OS both exist and are two different things.
Chrome browser is a browser that can be used with Windows, iOS or Linux.
Chrome OS is a specialised OS developed by Google for Chromebook, devices that work connected to the net.

I tried it recently, I did not seem as good, very good internet connection is needed and we can not all have it. However, it is very good feature is that it saves your data in the cloud, then if some internal device is damaged there won't be loss of data and you can access them whenever you want, provided you have internet access, a good connection.

The super positive advantage is that it does not require a supercomputer, the requirements are not as big and work in almost any old and new computer of course, is so soft that will work on almost every laptop and pc.

I agree that we all make mistakes. Though I have no intentions to humiliate anyone. Just want to clear it up. Anyways, thanks.
