Did any body reviewed Bharat Operating System Solutions -BOSS DEVELOPED by C-DAC?

Heard about it. I think there was a small discussion in this forum. Not many use it it seems.

Bharat operating system is a Linux distribution developed by National Resource Center fot Free/Open Source Software. This software package has been described as India's own operating system. It is the most meaningful product to come out of the Indian software industry.

For a new OS to take off there has to be something in it that others don't have and a lot of people looking to use that feature.

I saw a TV ad of this OS couple of weeks back. I am always reluctant to try new linux flavors and will definitely try it.

Good to hear something so ambitious evolved from Indian Market...
