I've recently attended Tech-ed event by Microsoft for developers. They showed us some features that are useful from developer perspective and i can say that after Windows Xp, Windows 7 will be the second OS that you'll love to use.
It is better than vista because they have considered the feedback from all over the world given by the Vista User. A user friendly OS, Windos 7.
love to try the stable release........![]()
same here....![]()
I am using windows7 RC1. It is SUPER!!!

Using Linux & BSD primarily. No fix distro yet for me but my younger brother use Ubuntu.
My story -
started as gentoo user ,
then switch to fedora due to documentation problems in gentoo,
then FreeBSD still using it (going to reinstall it) & Ubuntu (32 bit)( for my brother who is not technically minded). Will switch to LFS from FreeBSD when they will release docs for 64 architecture.
Xp for gaming
Mandriva 2009 for rest of the work
The first "computer" I worked on was a BBC Micro with "BASIC" hard coded.
Then worked on 8088, 8088 XT, 286 all with DOS
Then worked for some time with UNIX
Then worked on Win 95, Win 98, Win 2000 and Win NT
Presently working with Win XP (SP3), Win Vista (SP2) and UNIX
Had only a little working experience with LINUX.
Never worked with Mac.
p.s. why the poll does not contain UNIX.

Hey, Puchu.
Nice to know that you got a new broadband connection from BSNL... I'm glad that you can now spend some time on the forum.. You must have started dowloading heavily now...![]()
Wot's the average download speed you are getting?
In linux the speed is about 200-240kBps, my other HDD is out for warranty cover, so no MS OS now.
Once it is back, I will post the speed from IDM.
I found a firmware update on BSNL site , going to update and check the speed again.
