you can use ICS (internet connection sharing) between two or more computers with the help of a router.

As 24 Online client can not work from two seperate machines - you need to connect (or log on) from one machaine and share internet from this machine to other machine...

I have tried MAC duplication etc ......yet this is as far as i could reach. If you get a better solution please post.

Use the software named Technitream (not sure of the spelling, google it) clone the MAC address of the PC from which you login and use a router to share your internet connection and you are good to go!

Mac address locking is done to prevent misuse of the account, just like port binding in DSL connections. I would advice against doing so.

u can use wifi dongles to create ad-hoc wifi network between the two PCs with the option the share internet connection.
The alliance connection would remain with the original MAC bound PC

    Thumbs up

ask your cable service provider to remove the mac limitation permanently.this will let u login from any pc.i use a d-link DIR300 wireless router to share internet on my desktop and laptop.i have enabled the mac limitation on my d-link router so this prevents any unauthorised intrusion as no other pc can logon to my network other than my laptop and desktop.hope this resolves the issue...

Also make sure that that WEP encryption is enabled in the wifi setup to avoid misuse by neighbors

in case of the wifi dongle & ad hoc network..both pc s should be on...the router would be a better option.

WPA encryption is a better option than WEP

i used to have reliance broadnet connection earlier.........left it after 6 months of usage coz of severe speed & login problems...opted for airtel.....horrible speeds...felt cheated.......left it after 3 months...............tata indicom....used for 2 months...felt that they provide much lower speeds in comparison to their promise.......................yet to try bsnl dataone...hope i won't need to try it coz i have been using alliance since almost 1 year & am extremely with what they are providing at such a low cost....

well, first of all, dont get disguised by speedtest results. they are just measured for a period of few seconds. i am glad that you are satisfied with your connection. but, i am using tata 384 unlimited connection in kolkata itself and according to speedtest this is my result...

these results are not correct. to know your actual speeds , try some software like DU meter and use the average speed feature with their stopwatch over a period of time. tata isnt at all bad in kolkata when it comes to speed

i have used tata..i found it very inconsistent and full of speed issues...........frequent downtimes.......wrong billing......moreover as u can see the ping time to the bangkok server in ur own result...too much latency..not at all suited for online gaming...whereas see the ping time to the same server in my results...

it is the best is you do not use software but rather http based authentication
you can even file share by LAN with ccfile transfer
