Beam broadband on wifi and pc sametime

Hi,
Friends I am using BSNL wifi router for BEAM BROADBAND . Wifi router brand name is utistar.
I have smart phone and it has wifi. The problem is
I can only connect eaither wifi or pc at a time. If I use pc while using wifi its asking for password If i give password and continue using pc, then wifi connection is asking for password. so I am not able to use them simultaneously.
Please suggst me the setting I have to made so that I can use them simultaneously. I have googled for it but not able to understand what is ppoe mode or dynamic IP etc. Please explain in a common terms so that I can understand configure.

check your BSNL Utstar is seen here. and give the model number.

you should be getting a cable RJ45 from Beam and connect it to EITHER
Laptop or Desktop ports.
Then open the browser Home page of Beam and Login.
Presume NO modem router supplied . confirm.

use Laptop, and download an application called "connectify"
Then your laptop becomes an AP ( wifi access point ) and you may use the Smartphone.
more suggestion on your feedback.
confirm you have a friend ( with computer knowledge) to help you .
or you can follow instructions and make changes in router..

Try this.
Connect the Rj45 to LAN1 of Utstar router. LAN2 to desktop.
Open browser. can you log in ?

mention model make/number of utstar unit.

Check whether your model is listed.

click it and see the instructions. Select "MER" in WAN page.(if seen )
Try this.
Connect BEAM Rj45 to LAN1 of router.
Another Rj45 to desktop.
Open browser and check whether you can log in.

Can you install an application in your Laptop ? Name "Connectify "
smartphone may connect in wifi mode.

hi essbebe tanks for the reply. can you please tell me what is rj45. I am verymuch new to this terms.

The Cable from BEAM which goes directly to your desktop or laptop.

run ur PC with LAN and this will give u 4 free slots for wifi

HI! i have seen your posts and i thought u can help me.... i am having beam broadband connection and i want to connect a WI-fi in my home, so that i can use my internet through my smartphone also.. i want to use net thourgh my system as well as my phone... so i want to ask u which wi-fi router i should buy so that it will be compatible and should not give any problems.. and i want a password for my wifi too.... plz help me out.....
