    Post Best when considering latency.

I'm not using GTPL but one of my friend does. He has a 256 Kbps connection for 575 (i guess its incl of tax). Yesterday, I tested his connection and was amazed by it's low latency.

If you, latency is time taken for a ping to complete(or something like that). So, now I've a BSNL Broadband connection with 2 Mbps speed.

Here is the comparison of three ping tests.

Ping to 203.199.107.106 (my old web host, supposedly located in mumbai)

    GTPL - 38ms
    BSNL Broadband - 51ms

    Ping to Google(google.com)
    GTPL - 66ms
    BSNL Broadband - 352ms

    Ping test via speedtest.net
    GTPL - 36ms
    BSNL Broadband - 83ms

So, I dunno if this connection is good/bad but my friend seems to be pretty satisfied and above all, these latency values are best(or near best) for a MMO gamer like me

Default Tikona Broadband - the Best

I would recommend to go for Tikona. Tikona is a new ISP & has applied for PAN India License. It has already covered major areas of Ahmedabad, but still not started promoting themselves as they believe to set up the network in entire Ahmedabad & then, go for marketing in big scale. At present, they are into direct marketing only & you would not find any ad of Tikona at any place. The rates are better than Spidigo and again, you are not required to pay lumpsum amount in advance and get stuck with one service provider. Initially, they only charge Rs. 500/- installation charge irrespective of the plan & before installation, they will give a demo with speed test at your home/office.

Advertising is just for customer-reach & has nothing to do with trust. By the way, Tikona is one of the bidder for 3g spectrum with the likes of Aircel, Bharti, Reliance, Idea, Qualcomm, Vodafone & Spice. It's just that their marketing strategy at present is different & once they will be allotted the spectrum, they will come in a big way.

    LOL tikona got banned lol....haha.

Really Tikona is the bidder for 3G? even when they offer 4G service at present? LOL Oh wow...Tikona takes steps backwards then.

P.S - I wrote this on a Tikona connection. and it sucks lol
