    Default Spliting broadband

HI FOLKS AM NEW TO THIS FORUM,

I'VE GOT TWO CONNECTIONS AT HOME RELIANCE AND HATHWAY

RELIANCE 72 KBPS CONNECTED THROUGH A LAN CABLE FROM A MAIN UNIT OUTSIDE THE HOUSE

    AND

HATHWAY 128 KBPS CONNECTED THROUGH A HUB VIA A THICK BLACK CABLE FROM SOME SPLITTER OUTSIDE THE HOUSE , THE MODEM AND PC IS CONNECTED VIA THE NORMAL LAN CABLE

    MY PROBLEM IS
1)I NEED TO GIVE UP ONE CONNECTION AND TAKE A HIGHER SPEED FOR THE SAME AMOUNT BUT AT THE SAME TIME I WANT THE NET TO BE SHARED WITH BOTH PCS WITHOUT MAKING ANY ONE OF THE PC AS A SERVER i.e WITHOUT ADDING TWO LAN CARDS IN A PC AND MAKING IT AS A NET SERVER.I WANT TO MAKE IT INDEPENDENTLY ACCESSIBLE TO THE NET , AND SIMULTANEOUSLY ACCESSIBLE .IS IT POSSIBLE THROUGH HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE.

2)RELIANCE I CAN LOGIN IN WITH MY ID AND PASSWOR IN ALL MY 3 COMPS WITH SHIFTING THE LAN CABLE BUT NOT ALL AT ONE TIME .

3)HATHWAY HAS SPECIFIED SOME STATIC IP ADRESS SO ONLY ONE COMP CAN BE USED FOR THE NET.

SO GUYS I HOPE YOU CAN SOLVE MY PROBLEM

    THANKS IN ADVANCE

It is assumed that your PCs do not have wifi.
This is the simplest possible solution (though may not be the cheapest)
Get USB wifi dongles (around 800-900 each) for each of your PCs and connect to your PCs.
Connect one PC to the internet connection as u normally do.
Now create ad-hoc wifi connections to each of the other PCs with the option to share the internet and configure the firewall options.

Pl. remember that the first PC needs to be running at all times to have access to the net.

Well if u had opted for Airtel or BSNL connection instead of Reliance, u can easily solve your problem. The modem can be configured to work in pppoe mode and the connection can be easily shared in between the PCs. In reliance broadnet, u need to fireup the browser, and enter your username/password for establishing the connection.
