Rep Power: 0 | SIFY SAYS - CUSTOMER FIRST IS OUR WAY OF LIFE AT SIFY But my experience says Customer is First to Sify only till the day u buy the installation and other monthly charges The Slogan Changes the Very Next Day The CHEAT CUSTOMER is our way Way of Life at Sify whenever you call the answer will be 2 minutes sir/madam we will get back, or it will be done in and hour etc etc but the 2 minutes will never ever end Im in a Rs.800/- Unlimited plan (Prepaid) But the Sify works only the day they get the money from the next day i have to call for it to work I Humbly request All the Persons who have plans for sify or even know the name sify , Kindly erase the name from your MIND today itself. | Aditya | I already said no to sify long time ago, they are good for nothing. I used sify connection for 3 months and in these 91 day's i called up sify care for more then 300 times and my total bill for sify calls were 1400 rupees which is much more then monthly rental. These bunch of ideots don't know anything about tech and internet service but still they always talk like internet guru's. I still remember the name of sify executive who started teaching me about line speed and download rate. I always suggest everyone to stay away from sify, if you don't have any other option then its better to move house. |

| Bronze Member | Yes, Smooth is 100% right and true upto my knowledge as i have suffered a hell-lot from SIFY ISP ![]() First of all let me say SIFY BB is jst no-more than a dial-up connection. Secondly you will never get promised connection and atleast speed unless you keep the Lineman[Wireman] and Local Sify connector of your area happy[give them some bribe]. Thirdly They say UL plan lolz in my experience:the amount on re-charge/renew will end in sometime lets say you Dl 2GB file and you Renew 750/-, Alas 750/- will be reduced to 250-350/- and in just 2 days you will have to renew again SIFY CC ppl themselves never know whether you have to pay Service charge everymonth to the Lineman or not , they themselves are kinda confused and juggle when you ask regarding this in their team for 5 - 20 mins and just hang the line when they are lost/not-answerableNetwork Disconnects are like flawless water, Sify ppl will visit you when they need to collect the money on renewal and are never bothered whether the end-users are happy or not!! Last choice, just surrender the connection and go to other ISP |

| when i used sify my phone bill went up by rs 200........had to call them daily because of one problem or the other.....daily disconnections.........now i am a happy MTNL user |
