Thread: connect home 1111

i'm thinking of getting connect home 1111 plan--currently i have bsnl 500c
the only problem with it is that i always cross the download limit(1.5 gb)
could anyone tell me if connect home 1111 has same speed as that of bsnl 500 or any other plan for online gaming(mmorpg games like world of warcraft ) :thumbup1:

Have u considered shifting to BSNL 500C+
Rent Rs. 600 (100 more)
Free Calls 50 (instead of 175)
Free Data 2.5 GB (instead of 1.5)
rest same as 500C

That is fine... its the band width they provide.... Its Not The Actual Download Speed!!!!

Tell me how you get downloading speed... though they promise 1 MBPS... the actual speed u get is around 40 kbps... (if you dont believe use some download manager and look for speed)


I am with connect broadband since Dec 2007 ... i was using 990 plan!!! Now from jan 2009 i am using 1111 plan guess what! both of their speed sucks! except for night time...

from 10 AM to 10 PM the speed is 40 kbps average.. at night from 10 PM to 10 AM speed is 100 - 110 kbps <<--- that time is some what fine.. but who stays online whole night ???? no one i guess... therefore that time my computer downloads while i sleep...

but the question is : even after paying good sum of money 1111 RS / month i get 40kbps at day time wtf!!!!

Talk About BSNL... i had that too.. and used for 3 months... guess what after every 3 - 4 days.. either it stops working.. or some other line problem occurs.. FYI : i live in city... so its not like villages problems etc...
