Well i have used Internet from my mobile phone and i am also very much disappoited with the speeds they offer. I think service providers are jut minthing money by offer such disgusting services. It takes my some 1 minute to open my yahoo account from my mobile phone where as it takes just 3-4 seconds from my home connection.

I have tried it with Airtel Mobile using the bluetooth and the speed were not something to desire. I am not even getting even the dial-up speed with it. Is it because of Airtel or could be because of the area I was in, don't know. But I really hate to access the net through my mobile.

I have been using a reliance data card for the last few weeks and I find it pretty good. I am getting speeds between 10-15kB/sec and with their netbooster thing set to good speed , pages load pretty fast.
The best thing I like about reliance data card is that it doesnt disconnect on the GT road while travelling from Delhi to Jallandhar and also to Chandigarh where I go almost every week and this reliance data card is great help as I am able to stay connected throughout the way.

Earlier before i bought data card i was would cell phone for browsing internet while on move and i would say that it had a really slow speed. If you would like to go then go with some good company data card as you can get more speed from it.

GSM providers are offering internet via GPRS. GPRS is very slow and no faster than typical dial-up. GPRS is OK for email, etc. but not good for any serious internet surfing.

I had been using GPRS service from Airtel and i am very much satisfied with it. I don't mainly use it to surf internet but i use it to check my mail when i am on the move. I am sure we would have more speeds in near future but still what i am getting right now is also very much good.

I had been using BSNL internet service for some time and i would say that it is not the best option to go with as it is very slow and also it does not have a reliable and stable connection. It would keep disconnecting. So i think it would be good not to use them.
