hey guys im so freaking pissed off right now.I just need a blessed damn good internet connection.Is that so much to ask for in india .I started off with reliance :S , Oh my god what cheaters , and reliance net is a money making racket.I got fed up of them .cuz they took 1 month to fix my net.

Then youtelecom , which came out in mumbai recently .I took their you19kbps plan. so if u divide 192 by 8 ur suppose to get speeds of 24 kbps.Well i did in the start for 2 weeks.But now after 2 weeks and 4 months have passed.Speed is 11 kbps.I mean whut the f*** is wrong with this shitty providers.

So here i am asking for ur help.I need a good freaking unlimited plan and good Internet service provider.Somewhere which has good download speeds around 24-30(on torrents also).I dont know w hich to choose cuz which forum section i go.Everyone says their respective ISP sux.


and say supposing if i did go for a night unlimited plan.And the montly download n upload limit is 1gb.How fast does 1 gb get over in a month , if i use internet and msn daily

Welcome to Indiabroadband.net.

I have tried all isp's which are available at Newdelhi except reliance and there is one problem or the other with each one of them. The only one which I have found to be more reliable then others is sify as there is some one locally you can scream and shout at if anything goes wrong but obviously depends how receptive your local cable operator is. The best thing I can suggest is talk to people in your street and ask them what they use and which one is reliable in your area. Bsnl and mtnl are alright as well but all depends on how old the cables are in your area and how far the exchange is.
There is no good isp all over India but some of them are good in one area and bad in the other so it all depends on where you are and how the isp is behaving in your own area.

firstly thankx for the reply.Secondly well, me n my friends have tried almost all isp's and they all suck hands down.So im confused.I mean there is supposed to be competition right among the ISP' but i mean wtf , there is no competition.

ok one more thing which u didnt answer.If i take the mtnl night unlimited plan.Which has a 1.25 gb download n upload limit.How long will the 1.25 gb last in the day if i use msn n browsing the net for the whole month , cuz obviously in the night ill be downloading torrents not in the day

I cant say how long it would last as it depends on the sites you browse and how content rich they are, I am a heavy user and even without downloading anything I would normally use that much bandwidth in two or three days by just browsing web pages. but I know people who have this package and theirs last a whole month so all depends on your browsing habbits.
