Rep Power: 0 | Hi Dude , In UK the best service provider would be Virgin Media as its providing very good speed and deals as well. I would recommend you to go For Broadband XL (20 meg) package which comes with a Premium service called Broadband plus that enables you to use premium services ie napster for unlimited music download, sonic selector, kid zone , vid zone for unlimited video download etc services. Also you would be entitled to get Netgear router Model no. WGR614 that can be used for wired (4 ports) and wireless connection. All together if you can negotiate you may get the deal for 24 pound or less per month compared to existing price of 37 pound for an year. Sid |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi Dude, As far tiscali is concerned it was a good service provider in the past untill your Broadband was working fine but the moment your modem got faulty and you need a new your bad time starts as there have been concerns that customers had to pay in advance for modems which I was surprised to hear at the 1st place. If you are into gaming , downloading and uploading I would Suggest Virgin Media. As I had suggested the 20 meg plan for 37 pound. If you want a better deal then you can go 2 Meg unlimited which will cost you 10 pound per month for 1 year. Apart from that you would get Virgin Media security software named PC Guard features included :- 1) Firewall,2) Anti virus, 3) Pop up blocker, 4) Ad blocker. If you want more speed then you can opt for 4 meg which has been upgraded to 10 meg for the price of 24 pound and you also get premium services broadband plus and pc guard premium suite ( anti spyware, identity theft, parental control Free) till you are with Virgin media. Last but not the least you get free netgear router worth 40 pounds. But if you don't have a wireless card then you may have to pay 20 pounds for that. So its all upto you to decide which ISP you want to go with. Sid |
