Its a sinking ISP based in Kerala. They were ripping subscribers in every way until BSNL made its grand entry in Kerala. Now they are loosing subscribers as people are shifting to BSNL for their broadband needs. Asianet currently provides cable tv + internet. With the advent of IPTV in Kerala, the fate of Asianet will be sealed forever.

Well the provide UL plans too. Speeds are impressive, only during the offpeak hours. But now they are sinking and are really desperate to maintain the existing subscribers.

Different people different tastes different opinions different isps...

I was an Asianet subscriber too and was royally ripped off with 900/- every month for 64kbps UL from Asianet. It was during that time BSNL introduced 256kbps for just 500/- along with night time UL. What more could i ask?

Asianet is providing free downloads in between 2am and 6am, but BSNL is giving away extra two hours. I am able to clock more than 5GB downloads during the free time in BSNL.
