I am thinking of connecting 3 computers in my home through wireless internet. How much work is involved? Can I do it on my own? Do I need any thing other than a router and a wireless transmitter?

Yes u can..U jus need a router..and a transmitter..make one system the base computer and set up a network connection there..use the other two systems to connect up with it..Pm me if you want more help

if computer are with 100 meters then you can try Bluetooth, this will be the most cost efficient home wireless network.

Bluetooth is not the answer - it is too slow.

You need a wireless router. I have written tutorials for the same.
