    Question Broadband for free?

Searching the web I found this guy looking for free broadband access.

Do you think, it is possible to get free broadband?

Hey dude, no useful information in the link. They just give no info on broadband access. And as said, how can it be given free. This is highly impossible.

Well notthing comes for free right now. This is what i think that as you are talking about broadband i would say that it is the next big business in India and i am sure that it wont be free for any time soon.

the only legit way to get free broadband is through any wifi network..like in my city engineering students have their internet connections running all the time in their hostels and its all provided free as their is complete wi-fi networking in the college..In India i think this should be promoted in almost all the institutions..its not that costly after all if the institutions are launching it..only a few engineering colleges in India are providing its access though..

all other ways may not be legit..be careful guys..honesty is the best policy always..some people try to steal your connections and hack them..it should not be a necessity to get everything free..

Yes, free broadband could be possible, if Google enters that market! Picasa used to be paid software long back, then entered google and acquired and now they are giving it for free! They revolutionized free email storage with gmail. I heard somewhere that they are indeed giving away free broadband at their local area where their office situated by installing wi-fi or wimax all over the city, not sure, i heard somewhere.

This is not going to happen in another decade. There is no chances that broadband companies would give free broadband right now. Just forget about this thing.

Broaadband is a big business and no company would like to give it for free to any one except it is one of there market strategy which don't looks like a reality in near future. So do not think about it for now.

Well i am sure that one all the companies are setted in all parts of India and when the price war would begin we would see a lot of good offers from these companies and as of it we may also see free internet connections.

There are never any free lunches - there are always strings attached. And why should anyone providing a service provide it free of cost? It may get cheaper but that's about it.

I know Mountain View (CA), Google HQ, is the only city with free WIFI access for all. This service provided by Google.

I think in current scenario BSNL's landline business running only due to Broad band.
