    @shadow

    i really have no idea. But still i am thankful that they used 2d rendering to a minimum amount, imagine if they had made it like XIII.

    @mannu bhai

    yeah, the graphics engine and modelling are far better than the previous POP games, only the 2d rendering is a lil disappointment. this game strictly demands shader model 3, unlike previous POP games.

    The last three games on POP ( Sands of time, warrior within, two thrones ) were about how the prince managed to unleash the sands of time (which control time ) when he opened a sealed vase (brought back from his exploited countries ) influenced by an evil wizard. The concept is, this sand controls timeline, it was created and kept for a long time in the far mystic islands where the queen of time Kaileena controlled it, whoever has this sands and one of two lost artifacts (a dagger and a pendant ) will control time, but its hard to control it cause the sand corrupts weak minds. When the sand was unleashed, everything fell apart. people became zombies or monsters.
    In "sands of time" the prince had to kill his father the turned monster to bring back peace.
    In "warrior within" he had to travel to the "island of time" to end the troubles he had started by time-travelling in the first game. u see, when he started using time for his benefit(to stay alive) he unleashed a demon Dahaka, the keeper of timeline.

    here he also met the beautiful queen Kaileena and the hottest thug ever Shahdi
    Kaileena was voice-acted by Monica Bellucci

    In "two thrones" he returns home with kaileena to find his land destroyed by the bad sorcerer from first story, kaileena gets killed, prince enraged, his companion from first part returned and at last a great battle. the story is much more complicated than it may sound but I hope that this graphic description will turn u into playing POP.

    The latest POP game simply called "prince of persia" is based on a completely different story. It has no connection to the other stories.

    I could do that but then the thread will not have this glitter. Instead I have heavily optimized/compressed each pic manually so that they dont lose quality much (I always do that).
    I have also attached each pic and embedded them too so that people with lower bandwidth can just open the page and stop loading and then open pics from the links given.

    It's one of my favorite games.

    I liked Warrior Within the best.
    If I'm right, isn't the new game's name "Prince Of Persia : The Fallen King"
    Leo said that it was just called Prince Of Persia.
    Just wanted to ask you.

    I never found any name anywhere. Neither on net, nor in game manual or inside game.
    So, I am not going to believe in any name I hear.

    have attached the official game manual for verification.

    There is a game called "Prince of Persia: The Fallen King". It's a 2D game for Nintendo DS.

    @Archer

    I always use Fraps to take screengrabs or record gameplay videos. It is not resource hungry and delivers great results. You would be amazed if you saw the NFS Most Wanted gameplay videos I recorded with fraps (recorded in 1024*768 res ).

    u will find more screenshots here :

    when u are running a high end game and constantly taking screenshots using the "prinyscreen" key and then alt-tabbing (pardon me) to save it in mspaint, the game might crash. some games have inbuilt "screen grab" command key, suppose u press "F2" and a pic is saved at the game directory.

    "Fraps" is one of the many softwares which run in the background and when u r running a game, all u gotta do is to press a key (pre assigned by u) to save a screenshot at some folder (specified by u).
