Thread: I am playing...

I play spider solitaire only. Game is over in 5 mins or so and provides a good break from time to time ...

I play minesweeper when I get time....
Last week I played this ""Microsoft flight simulator" at my friend's house..I found it very interesting.....

I used to be real good at minesweeper . We arranged some sort of competition between us friends and i used to win most of the times. my fastest score with the "beginner" set was 4 . This game requires both luck and skills, thats what makes it much more interesting.

my favorite (lite) game? online poker...

but back to the biggies...I'm a huge fan of the following series' (to avoid redundancy, I won't mention some of the excellent games already listed on this thread):

1) Half Life
No amount of awards can do justice to this amazing first person sci-fi shooter series...the gameplay, graphics and storyline are more groundbreaking with each new episode!

2) Need for Speed
I've already proclaimed my love for this series elsewhere on this forum...

3) Halo
Another great sci-fi 1st person shooter, with a lot of parallels with the Half Life story! Halo 1 was singlehandedly responsible for the kickoff of Xbox sales worldwide, and the saga continues with the X360.

And I'm currently playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
I know I'm very late to the COD party, but better late than never! and what better one to start with than Modern Warfare?? Amazing game that has a very immersive atmosphere and stunningly realistic graphics and gameplay. I hear the multiplayer on this one is more addictive than crack-cocaine, or even CounterStrike! afraid to try it and run up my BSNL bills!

plz suggest me some games around 1 gb or so (it can be 2-3 years old too)

cant say much about sports genre. dont play em myself.

racing: street racing syndicate, flatout 1 & 2, and the usual NFS games (underground2/mostwanted/carbon etc). U can also try GTA series (gta san andreas ) because it is a free roaming game and u get to use and race with many cars.

All of them are above 1-2 GBs. Except SRS maybe.

use full rips.

i hv played GTA series (except gta4) and nfs.....will try the rest 2

There is a game called solsuite 2009. It has a selection of nearly 500 types of solitaire. There is a beautiful selection of card faces and card backs. The graphics are beautiful and you can play against a green velvety background just like the backgammom tables in a casino. Trial version is available at solsuite.com. There is even an addon graphic pack that will give you more card designs such as medieval, angels, cartoons and many more. Card gamers will definitely like this game.

yea... i had a confusion to choose which one of em to play and finally ended up uninstalling it... when i tried it long ago it had abt 300 games..

I m not good with cards. When I was a kid, I wanted to learn poker badly cause i wanted to go to a western saloon and get into a real gunfight over it. But when I learned that such things dont happen anymore, I gave up on cards.

Me too. Not good with Card games.

Card games are quite good. Solitaire requires lot of patience though. I enjoy playing Hearts. But havent played it for a long while so I got a little crapy.

i hate card games(computer).........seems to be booring......:sad:

If you have nt played the rest of the COD series then u did miss a lot ...

COD Warfare
Dunno finished the single player missions [including some unlocked missions ] long ago ....My isp can t handle the multiplayer one

Race Driver Grid ... Currently the best racing game and possibly the most challenging

i think games before 2002 2003 would be your best bet!! they were generally less than 1g

Hitman games are good. And I think all of them are under 2 GB in size. The system requirements needed are also low.
