Usually, in many racing games(and in GTA and other games), there is a reset option to reset your car. It is usually assigned to 'R' button. Just see the cotrol options to figure out what it is.

As far as I think, the reset option was mainly brought into action, to get your car back (Usually when it turns upside down or in any other such situations).

I have heard that cheating in the game upsets the mission availability. There are even cheat codes which disable all the enabled cheats and hence to progress in the game.

you know I had a great collection of some cool screenshots from GTA SA and VICE city, but I lost them all..some of them were really awesome
