Yaar u could have booted off from some live cd of linux and could have saved the save-data to another partitions.
Started playing DOW2... will let you know how good it is once I've completed it.
yup, replays, how can you save a goal, i mean, if its a small video of shooting goal, that's fine, but how can you know from the screenshot that how difficult was the shot?
yup, you are right, I don't play FIFA
I think he is playing Mafia
@danny, techie is right, I am playing mafia, and we were talking about mafia in regard to tragic ending.
@saurav, it is smaller than SA, but at some points, its better than SA, like the stunts, the graphic, etc. I have completed vice city more than thrice
yes ... the stunts are good .. even the music was lot better in vice city ... i also have completed it a few times ... was really addicted to it before![]()
I think the cause of the problem was because the UPS stopped before the system could finish shutdown process. When I started Windows XP, after the loading process it showed me the BSOD for a second and restarted immediately. I tried many times, but the result was same. I didn't know what to do and I remembered one of your post about BSOD. That it could be because of faulty RAM or curruped system files/drivers. So I checked RAM with Ubuntu CD. And got in to the conclusion that it's the second problem. So the on solution I could think of was to reinstall Windows XP.
You saved me. :w00t:
The save data of is stored in NTFS partitions and normally it cannot be opened in Linux unless Windows XP is shutdown properly. Or is there another way ?
It was a habit of mine to make back up of save games. But I lost it after playing many small games like COD & MOH.
I also lost the all the cool game screeshots and videos from Prince Of Persia, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, GTA San Andreas Medal of Honor: Airborne. I stored them in Desktop and My Documents and forgot to move to other disk.
But NTFS cannot be opened in Linux unless Windows XP is shutdown properly. Right ?
Before when I tried access NTFS disk in Ubuntu, it showed the message "Unable to mount....." When I google searched for a solution, I got the result to shutdown Windows properly and try again. And it worked. The same have happened in Kubuntu and Mandriva.
