Default I am playing...

This weekend I grabbed some DVD's from my friend and installed some of them which I liked from the overview...

the games which I have installed are:

Freedom Fighters
Max Payne 2
Urban Chaos
Mafia
Ford Street Racing

I don't have a gaming PC so have installed only compatible games
I have started Freedom Fighters and found it really good...

Any views about these games..crap or worthful?

You can play it any way
but
But i will highly recommend playing from 1 to 2 ...its got a killer story , one of the best ever in a video games series ....

u may not understand the story which would be a disaster imo

my recommendation

Play Mafia and simultaneously try to get MP 1 ... Mafia is quiet a big game and its better to play it before MP

Mafia
OLd cars-->slow ... more or less a GTA style game

Classic ending [story wise !] for any video game ever or movie

you can also use the trams and sub-way trains to anywhere u want travel try it out [should no the stops tho]

freedom fighters is a great game manish. i dnt even remember how many times i have played it. when we played this game, its graphics blew our minds off. i mean, then games didnt have such good grafix. the game was one of the first to boast of full rag-doll modelling ( the tech which makes the bodies fly upon nearby explotion). just play it man, its brilliant and one of the best i have ever played.
Ford racer is all right, nothin much to say about it.
And shadow has already said about mp and mafia.

one more thing which i just remembered, have u noticed the change in the hero's appearence. its a fun to watch how his overall appearence (mainly hair style) changes. the last stage is a killer.

Thanks Leo. I have completed 3 missions of FF and I really enjoyed it.
As I mentioned before I don't have a gaming PC so can't say much about grafixs but they are very good to me

I will tell you more as i'll advance

Guys,

Sometimes I fire up my old games just like that. A couple of days back I decided to load up a game called Blood. Made by Monolith, it was released way back in the "Doom" days. If I am not mistaken, this was one of the few games that introduced the mouse look.

There was no ragdoll effect in those days, but this game's speciality was the gibs. If you tossed a dynamite into a bunch of baddies, you were rewarded with a gratifying shower of blood and body parts. You can fire a flare into a zombie and see it burst out in flames screaming like a banshee. And then you could literally play soccer with its head.

Enemy AI was good and the action fast paced. The shotgun packed a punch not like the wimpy ones you find in some games and the napalm thrower was out of this world. Storyline is crap but who needs one when you are busy mowing down loads of minions and trying like hell to avoid the rusty axeblades wielded by half naked zombies.

Comments from those who have played this masterpiece.

P.S> By the way the sequel Blood 2:The Chosen is crap notwithstanding the improved graphics.

I had the games but never played em. I used to play "redneck rampage" , similar gameplay as blood 1.

I had played Freedom Fighters and found it to be good. I had completed it a lot of times when I had no new games to play. It was one of the games that I really liked during my entry into the 'hard world' of gaming. Really it is not so hard..

And, I hope I don't need to say anything about the rest.

I haven't played this 'Urban Chaos', and I don't like racing games much...

Ah he must be having a lot of patience (to take up the book again) or being in lack of it

As I have told you before these days I m playing "Freedom Fighters", I have completed seven mission.

this is one of the best game, i hve played,

yes its bit easy, as the players have his own army to whom he can send forward and himself can stay back safe..but still its a good game.

Any body remember how many missions/levels this game have?
