Ubisoft is already developing the sequel to Farcry 2 .... based in the wilderness in Africa like its predecessor Farcry 2, not much is known about the plot .....

"There are still things we want to do with the African setting, and I think it’s safe to say we’ll continue to explore it," said Far Cry 2 narrative designer Patrick Redding.

"That said, we might find something new and compelling about the Antarctic setting that wants us to make the next game there, but honestly, we’re still at the preliminary stages."

the game is tooooooooo long, i got bored @ 25% and left it.

Yes. I know. But people were discussing about FC2 and was intrigued by game being too long post.

It gets better after sometime. But then i got better stuff to play. Sry 4 wrong thread.

I haven't played any of the Farcry games, but i read somewhere on the net recently an article on why you shouldn't play Farcry!

Whats that all about then, if the games quite popular?

well the first farcr was great.the second was even greater.this was perhaps the best sandbox based game.and an fps as well!!
a treat for me it was!!

i think you didnt play the game fully!
once you have played it for 3 4 hrs, it gets under your skin...
you will love it then!!

i have heard that original gta4 dvd is available for only 300rs.is it true?? beacuse everywhere else it is steeply priced..

do you have anny sources that can confirm??

Has anyone here managed to complete GTA 4 ? 13 GB game must be really huge.

Yeah obviously the original....costed around rs 500

i am aware ... but thats the best price i got for the shops around my locality ..... I was nt willing to drive far just for that 25rs

In landmark(in blore) they were selling it for Rs1000, so i thought that only online prices were that cheap.

from fc3 to gta well i need some info about far cry 2 i need some bots on multiplayer please help me !!!

Farcry 2 was a good game. Only things bad about it were.....
1. Poor support team (patches etc to fix bugs)
2. No mods were developed as Ubisoft did not give out the modding tools
3. No open world gameplay (game just ends abruptly with your character dying after the last mission while there were so many things to do. Fallout 3 also had the same problem but it got fixed with the release of "The Broken Steel" addon.)
I hope they fix these atleast in Farcry 3.
Also a good movie on Farcry would be great. I guess its going to be much like "The Blood Diamond".

farcry 2 was good cause of its special effects.......

oo i cannot bear Farcry 3, farcry 2 was soooo boring.
