Do you play strategy games? If that is so then I suggest you install age of empires 2 and or red alert 1 and 2.

Try setting the game to compatiability mode from short cut to Win2000.
May or may not work but try.

    Try command And Conquer Generals,Tiberium Wars-3;NFS Ug-1,NFS Ug-2,NFS MostWanted
    (if you havent played them).
Rise of Nations, though it is an old game the graphichs are pretty good and does'nt reguire a good graphics card.
Call of Duty-2-4,GTA series upto SanAndreas(SA) should work on your PC.
GTA SA would keep you glued to computer for atleast 2 months.
    Happy playing.

If you like startegy games play
    Simcity-Rushhour
    Sidmiers-Railroad Tycoon,Sidmiers-Civilization
    Anno-1404 Dawn of Discovery
Command And Conquer series is really nice
    Age of Mythology(old game)

    Action Games
    BioShock1,2
    Prototype

You have to play these games in low graphic settings

I have played Sim games before.

But as a student, I will advise you to pay more attention to academics. (Computer) Games are very addictive and will distract you no end and yield no benefits.

Hey dude, if you want to have a really good time you can play resident evil 4. It runs very smoothly on intel onboard graphics. The only problem in the game is there is no mouse support like other 3rd person shooters but it has a solution. You will need a small tool to enable mouse support. But if you have a gamepad you won't even need that tool as well.

I took 1 Day to complete

I like Counter Strike 1.6 and My one friend got addicted to this game.
    If you like CS 1.6
you should play CS1.8, CS:Source. These are just like CS1.6 and very good.
Also, Urban Terror is a good game.

I think you should perform a test on xxx.systemrequirementslab.ris
replace xxx with www and ris with com.

It will tell you if you can play the game or not..
