Thread: What's your favorite strategy game and why?

Do you even play any strategy game in PC? Strategy games are like those Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, Age of Empires and others.

My favorite strategy game is Command and Conquer Generals: Zero hour. Besides that its cool, its easy to play with your friends in the internet or even just in Lan cable. Plus the features of the game is really fun.

How about any of you here? What's your favorite strategy game?

Age Of Empires!? Do you play with some people online? If yes, through what? Through Garena? I love playing Age Of Empires as well. Not playing it as of now though since I'm strengthening my hero in Warlord's Battlecry III.

Age of empires, Rise of nations & Halo Wars.

Age of empires: because it was the first strategy game i ever played.
Rise of nations: because one needs to give less concentration on resource generation, and military forces can be created very quickly.
Halo Wars: I LOVE THIS ONE! superb graphics, amazinggg story and warthogs, spartans...music.. n wat not <3

The only PC games I have ever liked were stratgy games and the one I have played the most is age of empires and I used to be in the Megatron clan on the Msn zone if there are any old skool gamers here they would know what Megatron was Never lost a game to a non megatron on game zone but lost interest when game zone was shut down by MSN I think back in 2004

i never like games which are to be played from 3rd person view...but still , i loved sim city. gr8 game. any1 tried citiesXL , sim city ka baap hai yeh game...and online play too.

I am very big fan of Age of Empires III.......

My favorite strategy is Dawn of War. Its different from all other strategies I played. Has a good story and unbelivably more fights than any other strategy game. There are so many different races to choose from each being unique. Also it offers great multiplayer modes.

Ofcourse I like AOE, and funny no one mentioned Warcraft III

cant live without playing it ! i still play the game offline/online. Great Graphics, outstanding Story line, great gameplay etc.

i like more tower defences and Angel Arena . .

Have u tried Green circle TD ? Not too many dota games on bnet...

ya i played Green Circle TD, green td, yellow td, mafa td etc etc . . do u have account over eurobattle ? whats ur user id ?

i used to play about 2 years back...then i found garena....ID was Eldron but i dont remember the password...

Age of empires
Heroes of Might and Magic.
These are the three I like best.

My favorite strategy game is Dune2000. It is pretty old game but it is my favorite. It come from Dune2 very very old game I was teenager when it was popular. I didn't have even PC then. Dune2 I played on Amiga computer.

Ive never been into strategy games, but always heard from those who play them that they are good! Any interesting and good ones out there???????? Preferably of female interest

Excuse me for bumping this thread but IMHO the Total Wars Series is the best.
The graphics is awesome. The 3D live action battles are unbeatable. The AI is very realistic.
I love RTW although i am planning to check out Napoleon Total War.
Try it.
But its very addictive and you've been warned.
P.S. Just imagine playing Napoleon total war with a Radeon 3Display Eyefinity rig.

Command and Conquer series for it's great graphics and good storyline.
