Can someone suggest me a cheapest graphics card to play gta 4 at 30-60 fps at lowest settings. Please suggest me a graphics card first than can be used to play it at 30 fps then 60. Thanks.... And rajan1311, if you are reading this post, give me your ph. No.

please tell your budget and your existing configuration. GTA4 is a CPU intensive game and you will require a quad core processor to get 60 fps.I got around 40FPS with my dual core E5200 @ 3.2GHz.

Thanks! I have a intel core2duo E5200 2.5 GHz and 4 gigs of ram. I can play it @ 2-3 fps(lol) with my onboard chipset, so i think i should buy a graphics card my budget will be 2200-5200 rs. And i understand your problem about your number but i need an alternative method to contact you while buying a graphics card because i am noobs in it. I can only suggest a better nvidia graphics wit its model no. I can't think about ati graphics card. Can you tell of that how can i better recognise ati cards. Also, tell me difference between 512mb ddr2 and 256 mb ddr3

With that budget, i don't think you will get a very good deal. You may have to look at 2nd hand stuff.

I don't really need a very good deal. ASUS EN8400 GS is priced rs. 2850 here in my district and it can play gta 4 at an average of 15 fps. Graphics card will get cheaper in other places and if they don't get cheaper, i don't care. So please, i don't need a high end ms extreme graphics card, i just want to know about some good graphics card. Just4klix told me that you have a good knowladge of graphics card and i know that too. Your every post is worthy and explaines what other users need to know. I am not a pro in graphic card, so i contacted you. Thanks!

As you know, an 8400GS would not get you near 30fps so why do you want to spend Rs2500 on that card. I have a spare 8500GT, lemme ask my dad if i can give it to you....its actually on my dad's office PC and he does not use it

My mother said what are you going to buy with the money provided. I said you won't understand. She said that tell me about it so i can know it. I said i will buy a graphics card. She asked me about what it does then i told some technical details that she wouldn't understand. She said "tell me in simple words, what do you want to do with a graphics card?" i said that i makes pc faster, if i said that it makes gaming faster then i won't be able to buy a graphics card so i am collecting money to buy a new one.

anyways, asked dad, he said he may need that PC so i don't think i can give you the 8500GT, but a friend has an 8600GT and he may upgrade soon, will ask him.

Now i am thinking you don't have a good info about graphics card or you would told me a graphics card less than 5000 because 8400gs is half of it.

Makes PC faster is true
if u use onboard gfx then it consumes some ram but if a GFX then no Ram consumption.

And i suggest buy an ATI Radeon HD 5670 512MB for Rs5500 is great deal.

Add CPU Usage to the list which is needed to process physics if there is no dedicated GPU

Also,
ATI Radeon HD 5670 512MB is probably the best graphics card in its price range.

If you want to go better GPU then you will have to go for 9600 GT but that needs seperate power supply which will cost Rs. 1800 more

ok... I got it....... Thanks..... But it will be good if you can tell me another one in this list between 2000-4000 (i won't buy it but it is just for my...... Uh.... Satisfaction. )

I have no experience with ATI but my friend recently bought ATI Radeon HD 5670.
For Nvidia : 9500 GT is a good GPU costs Rs. 3000 to Rs. 4000 depending on memory size and brand. I recomend XFX or Asus or MSI.
9400 GT is costs around Rs. 2800
