PSP: Play like a King – anywhere, anytime.

Many times it happens that whenever you are about the complete the toughest mission of the game, you heard your wife saying, “I want you to come with me for shopping.”….. “Right NOW” and you have no option left but to turn off in the middle of the assassination of the deadliest animal or the reason could be different, power cut, playing controller problems etc.

But now you have an option, an advantage, and a reason to jump with joy.

After the huge success of Play station gaming consoles especially PlayStation 2, Sony launched a Portable console called Play station Portable (PSP), which was an incredible piece of master work. The console is too light and small that you can put it in your pocket and carry it everywhere. The cost too won’t eat your stomach, comes for a reasonable price, In India you’ll find it for approximately 9000 INR. So it’s like, anytime, anywhere, anyhow. It was a huge success soon after it launch. According to a latest estimate, the copy has succeeded to sell more than 50 million consoles throughout the world, which itself shows the interest and craze for the product.

However the sale of this product lagged behind Sony’s main competitor, Nintendo, but PSP has been awarded as “the most successful non-Nintendo hand game system ever sold.”

The main features which make PSP more attractive are its light weight means easy to carry anywhere and enjoy in anytime be it movie, traveling etc, a quite large screen to get a better view and for more excitement, decent battery backup for more fun, internet connectivity for more wider range, audio-video files (movies) can be played, listen your favorite songs, store pictures, connectivity with PS3 console, yes, you can actually connect PSP with PS3 and if you too choosy, the product is available in whooping 11 different shades and list goes on and on.

Approximately over 500 games can directly be played over PSP, in addition to which, several PS2/PS3 games have been re-released and can be downloaded which can be played on PSP.

Overall I rate it 4.5 out of 5. A must buy gadget if you are gaming freak!
