New Delhi, November 23, 2006: Eastern Software System (ESS), India’s premier ERP Company offering cutting edge technology solutions and services to SMBs and enterprises has announced a business partnership with Inova Systems D’Informations, a company based in Ivory Coast (Cote d’Ivore). Besides Ivory Coast, Inova Systems will help ESS market its flagship ERP product “ebizframe” in other French-speaking African countries like Burkina Faso, Mali, Mosambique, Senegal, South Africa and Togo. Inova Systems has strong presence in water and electric supply authorities and the private sector in these market regions and will be leveraging on its existing customer base to sell ESS’ ebizframe. It has ambitious plans to make inroads into the government sector as well. Inova Systems aims to add 8 customers for ebizframe in the very first year of operation with marketing assistance and support from ESS personnel.

Recently, India’s premier trade promotion organization, Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), under the aegis of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, organized “Awards for Excellence in Exports for 2003-2004 and 2004-2005″ and recognized the pioneering work done by ESS in terms of computer software exports to the Africa region. Having received the special award for ” Development of New Markets—Africa Region” for the year 2003-2004, this is another marketing initiative by ESS to strengthen its presence in Africa.

This business partnership with Inova Systems in Ivory Coast has been facilitated by ESC as it invited a business delegation from Ivory Coast recently and interfaced it with leading Indian exporters in electronics and computer software domain including ESS’ business development team. ESS, in the recent past, has actively participated and showcased its products and solutions in IT exhibitions like FUTUREX 2006 at South Africa, AITEC 2006 at Ghana, IBN Conference at Tanzania and the IT Africa Exhibition at Zimbabwe.

According to Anil Bakht, Chairman and Managing Director, Eastern Software Systems, “Having attained success in India, especially with small and medium businesses (SMBs), we have been making forays in the international markets. We have translated user interfaces for our software product in five international languages–Arabic, French, Russian, Spanish and Thai besides English—such that the product is more acceptable in countries abroad. Arabic is one of the major languages used in MENA (Middle East and Northern Africa) countries besides French, which is widely used in many Franco-phonics countries (erstwhile French colonies). The tie-up with Inova Systems will help us bolster our presence in the region further.”
