Default Kodak Earns Honors for Global Citizenship, Ethics, and Sustainability

Eastman Kodak Company has been named to two international lists of companies recognized for corporate responsibility in business ethics and governance, environmental, and sustainability issues.
Kodak ranked 34th on the list of 100 Best Corporate Citizens, published in CRO (Corporate Responsibility Officer) magazine’s January/February issue. Kodak has appeared on the list of Best Corporate Citizens in seven of the last eight years. Now in its eighth year, the 100 Best Corporate Citizens list was developed by Business Ethics magazine, which previously published the annual ranking.

To develop the list of 100 Best Corporate Citizens, some 1,100 publicly held U.S. companies are evaluated by KLD Research & Analytics, an independent investment research firm in Boston. The firm collects data to evaluate social and environmental characteristics of a good corporate citizen. Their analysis includes such factors as corporate governance, service to the communities where a company does business, environmental responsibility, diversity and employee relations.

“We’re proud to have been recognized again by the investment research community as a responsible corporate citizen,” said Patrick M. Sheller, Kodak’s Chief Compliance Officer & Assistant Corporate Secretary. “Our inclusion on the list of most ethical companies reflects Kodak’s commitment to ethical business practices and our employees’ efforts to treat each other, our customers, and our suppliers with fairness, dignity, and respect. When we earn recognitions such as this, it’s a true reflection on all our employees.”
