Rep Power: 1 | Big lobby behing internet connection I recently shifted to Whitefield area and came to know about Railwire. I enquired about that. They said broadband line in my area is not available. Story goes long. I had BSNL connection in my last residence for last 3 years and I was quite satisfied with the service. To my surprise at my new residence the BSNL line is also not available. Initially I opted for BSNL transfer had to cancel due to non availibility of broadband line of BSNL. What is available is only Airtel. There are many housing complex and big apartment are there in my road and to my surprise still BSNL did not put their cable. It is only 2 kms from ITPL IT hub of Bangalore. When I cancelled my telephone from BSNL one person from BSNL said their is lobby going on for broadband connection. Private ISP bribe hefty amount to BSNL top brass to delay putting their broadband line. It will come only after some year when most of the potential customer gone to private ISP. |

|  Being a railwire user i am quiet happy with the speed and the tarriffs. I am getting unlimited 1 mbps @ rs. 920 and believe me guys I get a downloading speed of almost 920-960kbps and uploading 700-750kbps. And if there is any issue with the connectivity the customer service guys are pretty helpful they even call you back as they promise which is something i never got previously in airtel, sify or pacenet. My only complaints is with my local service provider who unfortunately always has some so called switch problem and the net gets disconnected due to this problem of his. But each of my call to the customer care has been satisfactory. If I faced a problem they tried to fix it at the earliest. People in Bangalore go for railwire its the best one to my knowledge provided you are not in CV ramannagar with my local service provider lol. |
