100mbps high speed Internet !! Now possible in India..
Although no detailed information is available at this time but TATA has claimed to have 1500km of OFC (Optical fiber cable) around Mumbai city by which they are planing to offer 100mbps connections at Rs. 10,500/- per month.

Prices are different now. As I recall it's 3,500 for 100Mbit/s with a 10GB cap.

On the other hand, we're launching an ISP in Mumbai which will have speeds up to 1Gbit/s within our network, but for the rest of the internet currently we max out at 100Mbit/s. Our prices are a little better than Tata... http://goo.gl/5x9z

In Foreign countries net is very cheap . A user should get at least 1MPB internet then only it is called Broadband .... and that too is at afforadable rates and ratio is 1:2 and here we get a ratio of 1:8 and 1mps cost at least rs.700 and we like noobs go ahead and agree
