As far as I understand Railwire BB is not an ADSL connection. Hence, you will not be able to use your existing modem with the connection.
You can of course, connect the modem provided by Railwire BB to the existing router and make the existing router act as a wireless repeater..
So my guess is that they are given away connections in the form of metro ethernet broadband.
The problem is that they provide connections only in specific cities. So many (like me) are unaware of the underlying technicalities.

Presume:
Railwire rj45 ? goes directly to computer ethernet port.

It's unlikely that your ADSL modem/router will work with Railwire connection. Your local operator who installed the cable will help you in setting up the router (home visit). That is what the Railwire helpdesk told me and the local operator too confirmed the same (free of cost). However I set up my LAN router (Netgear) myself. This router takes a LAN in and has LAN out + wireless. There was no VPI VPC parameters at all.
You can also call up the Railwire helpdesk and they will guide you.
