    With various companies joining the bandwagon of Internet Service Provider enterprise, the RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel), a government of Indian enterprise too took a mission of providing broadband internet services to people of India. It is called Railwire which is at present functional in Bangaluru and is expected to start in Kolkata soon. The mission of Railwire is to make available “ICT to Common Man” & “Internet, Education and Health Services to Masses”.
    Railtel was indeed formed in 2000 with this objective of creating a nation-wide broadband telecom as well as multimedia network to modernize the train control operation and thus provide safety system of Indian Railways. The network of RailTel’s network passes through 5000 stations across the nation and that control central business districts, mini and major cities as well as towns.
    RailTel claims that Railwire broadband is the only pan-Indian ISP who doesn’t need to slow down the burden of legacy network pile-on. And with several BSO’s and cellular operators who avail the Railwire NLD services felt that it is one of the best broadband service providers in India and it also started providing services to corporate business houses for the VPN and now also offers retail broadband connection to home users too.
    RailWire focuses on pure broadband and VPN services. The Railwire also offers content application drive network, affordable pricing, great deal of flexibility that too all in one. It is going to become a hub of local information and tool for rendering infotainment, communication, health and community services to masses.

    Now this seems to be old Tariff plans.

    Is there any concession for new connection
