Question Whcih 3G connection to opt for?

I am planning to buy a 3G datacard for using it in my lappy but I have no idea of which one to go for. And after going through discussions here also I have not been able to come to any conclusion.
So please advise me on which connection to go for and which can be used both in kolkata and Tamil Nadu.

You should ask your friends who use BSNL.. its cheaper and speed is also good atleast in north India and Karnataka i guess.

Idea, Airtel and Vodafone are also providing 3G services.. so check locally first and than opt...

You should know that if you dont require very high like 2mbps speeds, maybe you can use an unlocked modem with old 2G sim and get good speeds 100kbps~~2mbps.. (Thats on bsnl)
Site from home gaya bhad mein... AIrtel se bolo FUP band kare.. BSNl se bolo 3G signal do!!!!>: (

well, u assumed lots of things by yourself. I require a perfect 3G datacard with 3G speed, nothing else.
I dont know anybody using BSNLs 3G here. Further the feedback I have got on BSNLs broadband (not 3G) wireless datacard is pathetic. So am not going for it unless I get some very gud feedbacks on it.

You should use Reliance as reliance has it's own fiber connected towers throughout kolkata.....
