Default Reliance 3G auto disconnect after 425 MB of data download - Delhi Circle

Since last few week, I have observed that my Reliance 3G get disconnect after 425 MB data download. Although due to my Huawei 8321 dongle, it get re-connected in next 1 minute, but this disconnection really kill my downloading. I mean I cannot download any ile more than 400 MB because it will get interrupted easily.

This is really frustration, although I figure out the solution of it by use of IDM.

Anyone else in Delhi or other places face this 425MB auto disconnection from Reliance 3G???

I have use Reliance 3 two years ago and never had this problem. It may be a new thing but I dont see a point in doing this because all their plans are limited data plans. Even if there are plans with FUP and lower gprs speed after than then instead of cutting off they could just let people crawl their way into their gprs speed download which are impossible in many ways.

Most companies have this download limit or time based auto log out so they can save on bandwidth. I cannot say if Reliance is doing this or not but the end result obviously is that your downloads are getting interrupted which is not good.

Does using IDM not solve your problem? Your modem should automatically reconnect after every disconnection and if it is not doing that you should look into dialer settings and tick the setting which says auto connect.
