    Default Early termination foreclosure charges

    i have been using reliance 400 Flat free plan.because of pathetic customer service and BSNL is giving very good plan and connection in a week. So i closed my reliance connection.I applied for disconnection by calling Reliance Customer Care and at that time he did not tell me about anything as such like Early Termination Foreclosure Charges.After that some Reliance representative came and collected Modem,wire etc.And after all this i received bill from reliance of Rs 1950 .1500 rs for early termination foreclosure charges and 450 rs my monthly rental charges.
    I used this reliance flat free 400 plan for almost 16 months.then what the hell is this early termination foreclosure charges.anybody has idea about this charges?
    i am ready to pay my rental sum thats 450 rs but 1500 :O Reliance is such cheater !

    Same case as mine.

    Dont worry. It's been 3 months since I disconnected. Got couple of times call for Bill Due. But I told them to collect the modem first and waived off 1500 Rs. then i will pay rest of amount.
    But till date nobody has collect modem yet.

    Some of the representative came at my home last week,but i was in office at that time so mom told them to come on saturday.Lets see if they come.Anyways i am not going to pay 1500.Ambani is cheater

    Hey..Raj / Nisarg, plz update us.. are they forcing to pay termination charges even after taking the equipment?

    Default Early fore closure charges

    I also got the same above problem. Hre is my story:

    I got a bill for Rs2000 after disconnection.When i contacted customer care, they told, Rs1500 is being Charged for the Modem not being collected from me. Then i went to local reliance authorities and got confirmation receipt for Modem collection. After that i sent the confirmation receipt to Mumbai people. After they told Rs1500 is for Early termination.
    Then i kept quite for 2 months. Now they have contacted voluntarily and told Rs 1500 is adjusted ( i dont know How?)and I have to pay only Rs400.I insisted a statement of bill and they send record of accounts (not the bill & i don't know-it has generated from Mumbai or from local office).
    Iam waiting for the proper bill for Rs400.

    My experience with Reliance...Speed rocks but Customer care sucks.
    My sympathies wth you.My advice for all reliance problems - visit their office personally rather than talking on the phone with customer care.
