i have been facing reliance broadnet issues since past 4 days since Nov 12 2008,thought somebody may have a solution.i use the flat 150 kbps unlimited & stay in Thane city near Mumbai.the problems began all of a sudden and frequently started receiving 'limited or no connectivity' error therefore no internet ..
1)so called the customer care(cc)..get a reply stating some problems in the mumbai servers the problem will be corrected by night 11.30pm..
2)the problem persists.So i called again and told the problem hasn't been resolved.. answered received saying there is All INDIA INTERNET ISSUES' and will be resolved by 2morrow i.e. by 14th..ok..
3)so i called again that the no connectivity error hasnt been resolved..the technical department directs the process of diconnecting the poe device etc., but to no avail and told the prb will be resolved by by evening and also told there is some problem regarding placement of my satellite receiver and their technician would come over to correct.
4)The problem is corrected by 5 pm 14th nov but none field tecnician comes over to correct the dish prbs..i can login..but after while playing a MMORPG game online my internet again hangs up by 1200 am 15th nov and the same problem again.
5)9.00 am i cant login even though the limited connectivity has gone..so called the cc again and again the same answer..the prb will be in corrected
6)the problem is corrected but a new problem surfaced..whenever i m surfing or downloading the net speed goes 0 kbps cant surf for 5 mins and download hangs up and the net bounces back for 15 mins and the up-down pattern continues..wtf..now i m really annoyed and fed up and again called cc.same answers again.
SO PPl is there any solution to this, as i havent had problems with reliance since i subscribed on august .But a minor hitch..Last month Reliance had taken off the internet for 8 days Stating Some upgrade/maintenance work in the mumbai network.so is this true?yet they charged the entire bill payment of that month- Rs 750 + vat/taxes.
Also ppl whats the diff. between Reliance broadband, rel broadnet , rel Wimax..(precisely the Diff Between Broadnet & WiMax).
Moreover how to register the service/subscribe to reliance email address(also is it necessary) service so i can get useful news ,updates regarding reliance services
Also i m planning to upgrade my plan(150kbps/8=18.75 kBps which i receive 16-19kBps but lately 14-19kBps after their upgrade thingy) to 400kbps unlimited(400/8=50 KBps) and if i dont like the plan can i revert back to 150kbps bcoz many of u have been statin that the 150kbps plan is discontinued.Are there going to be any changes in the ISP tariffs in near future (changes=less charge ). also sorry for any grammatical mistakes and use of abbrev.bare with me..for asking 2 many Qs.hopeful of replies.thanks.
