nothing to worry about it happens because of heavy congestion in network even i face this problem ,of home page but in 10-15 min it comes back to normal if u cant get the page open check ur connectivity GO TO RUN>TYPE CMD>THEN TYPE IPCONFIG /ALL AND THERE U WILL SEE UR gateway ADDRESS, AGAIN GO TO RUN TYPE >PING gateway AND SEE THE RESULT if u cant ping ur gateway then call cust care.

The link light should light up inorder for the above procedure to work out successfully. Frankly i guess the thread starter's modem is not getting the signal from the DSLAM.

my reliance Broadnet is working like charm never goes down touch wood, getting blazing fast pings and 0% packet loss. and getting 298 kbps(37.2 KBPS) constant in 300kbps plan.

Try this: I use this, I'm in Dahisar, Bombay. Might not work everywhere.

    http://10.239.89.15/home?

this is the ip of the server that gives me the host page. There's multiple such servers. See if you can figure out the ip address you usually get directed to, and use it. It's much faster than waiting for your browser to resolve "reliancebroadband.co.in"

actually i am a heavy voip user i use VYKE voip service, to achieve good call quality ur pings needs to be constant and below 250ms thats why i told u to test that iax server ping so i can find out hows ur connection performs.

wow admin is here, 400+ms is unacceptable in voip, actually i disconnected sify a.k.a shitt fraud band because of slow pings and packet loss from their always congested servers, now in reliance i am very happy because of fast ping response and 0% packet loss and almost 0% downtime and const speed.
