i was started to download a movie from torrent and this lightning fast speed kicked in and downloaded 700 MB in 12mins!!!! with avg of 1.3MBPS per second!!! see scrshot, and also my connection wire is 500 MTRS continuous stretch from DSLAM!!!!fdgd.JPG 109MB in 1.23 mins!!!!!!!! 1.3MBPS*1024 BYTES=1331.2*8bits=10649.6BYtes=10.6 mega bits per sec!!

Maybe some maintenance work is being done. I have experienced such speed bursts with BSNL too when they are meddling with the exchange machinery..

when i've got the connection i received speeds of 2MBPS for 2 weeks,but 10.6MbPS speed is rare.

yah dude it was constant see DU meter avg transfer rate is 1.3MBPS I've downloaded the 700MB in 13 MINS!!!! see stopwatch 109mb downloaded in just 1.2 mins short bursts cant do that, Reliance optic fiber connectivity rocks!!!

i use Wired Broadnet every week i get these kinds of speeds for free!!!!!!! and when i got the broadnet i get speed of 2MbPS plan for two weeks for the price of 400 KbPS what more u expect from ur ISP.

i use 400KbPS Flat fee plan cost 999 excluding taxes

i think reliance is the best isp in india u get more speeds than other isp in same price for eq airtel 256KbPS ul costs 799 pm and gives 29-31 KBPS dl speed whereas reliance gives 300 KbPS in 799 pm with 35-37KBPS when i red about 100, 300 or 600 kbps in place of 64, 256 and 512 kbps, only from Reliance i thought it was gimmick but was true u get more.

But I have noticed that speeds are very very consistent when downloading huge bunch of data like movies or games.

SpeedTest.net speed results are not at all reliable especially when servers within India are used to calculate the speed. Always keep a tab on the direct http download speeds while using a download manager. That might give an approximate idea about the speed being experienced.

Dude..i would request u not to disclose your identity or name that easily on such forums...as the internet guys do surf website so that no bad name is found about them...if them come across your thread.......might b your party will get over......

A guy frm another forum got 22k bill for airtel internet for his office which was under renovation......someone hacked his passwd and used the net...and he badmouthed the company so much sweared about it on the site...later for 2months they were under discussion and matter was abt to solve...they came across this guys thread.....and cancelled the stuff on the contrary filled a counter notice abt bad mouthing.....
