Hello to everyone on board. I also have similar problem as chaitali had. I have made request for discontinuation of Reliance broadband services on Nov 30, 2010 (request no.142120296) through their customercare centre via telephony. But I got the bill on Jan 4, 2011 even after making request for cancellation of broadband services. that day itself I wrote mail to RCOM but every time I get new request no. with the reply stating that RCOM executive will contact me. but this never happened even I'm writting regular reminder through mails to all RCOM officials concerned including Nodal Officers. But no one come out with the solution.
One fine day on March 22, 2011 I got legal notice through advocate for dues of Rs. 1,297/-. Again I wrote mail regarding my problem to all concerned including Nodal Officer. Than on March 27, 2011, I got mail saying your outstanding is Rs. 192.12 and asked me to pay this. I want to close this issue as early as possible because I want to buy peace of mind by paying this dues. But before paying this amount I want to get confirmed this whether this is final or not. Therefore that day itself I checked with their customer care executive but he said there is no any message displaying this fact over there. Hence I again replied that mail seeking confirmation regarding this dues. I asked them to confirm this final dues and I also wanted to have confirmation regarding withdrawal/nullied/cancelled legal advocate notice/proceeding, as the case may be, before paying this dues of Rs. 192.12. But still I'm waiting for RCOM's reply.
I request all of you to please help me to come out of this RCOM JUNGLE. And I also request you to please beware from these kind of RCOM business practises before choosing RCOM.
