Thread: Internet Data Card in Udupi?

Hello All,

I am currently residing in Udupi,Karnataka. I want to go in for a reliable, high-speed internet data card (For unlimited Usage) that can be used for both desktops and laptops. I know for sure that there exists one of different brands like BSNL, Airtel, Reliance. The data card should be able to provide me with the internet connectivity on the move. Which one of them will suit me the best? Please consider my location also.

I will advice you to go for Reliance NetConnect USB modem. Since it is a USB modem, it will work on laptop as well as desktop.

There are a couple of downsides:

a) The NetConnect modem and its plan is not available everywhere in India but that will change soon.
b) The plan is not with unlimited usage.

I will advise not to go with the Reliance Net connect. I recently bought it and the speed I receive is pathetic.

Attached is the screen shot of the speed.. they promise 3.1 MBPS and give in KB's.

I definitely not recommend you to go with this.
