Thread: Right Wifi Router for Reliance Broadband

Hi,

I am not sure if this question was asked before, my search did not help.

What are the best wifi routers to connect to a Reliance wired broadband with a modem already provided by Reliance? Would this be an ADSL router which has a built in modem or just a plain broadband router? Any economical brands and models will be great.

If I go for an ADSL wifi router, it will be Reliance Modem --> My ADSL Modem+Router --> PC/Laptop

Will this cause problems since ther will be two modems in theory? If an ADSL modem will work, I would prefer that because I can use it later with any other ADSL provider when I change without buying a modem again.

Another question:
Can the Reliance modem be replaced with another ADSL modem, so that we just have one single instrument than two?

It is no different from any other provider, except that you have to choose a dynamic IP on the modem.
Check the many threads here on the topic.
