Thread: Reliance Broadnet info + a Tip

i am planin 2 switch to reliance form MTNL cause i need a good Fully Unlimited plan

ive been using MTNL since 4 years & currntly on the 890NU scheme

Rel offers 799 for 300 UL
MTNL offers 999 for 256 UL

so i am opting for reliance 300UL or 400UL

- Can sum1 tellme what more tax wud i hv 2 pay in reliance incl a rough amnt figure of what many of u users see in your bill regards to FLAT FREE PLANS

- Its service with regads to MUMBAI

- What Download speeds should i expect

cause i see many post made here that say reliance is good or reliance is bad
but never mention their location .... cause service varies for the type of location and area.

for example MTNL service which i am gettin @ Mumbai,Prabhadevi is excellent
but i am being overmeterd in day usage.

Whereas my uncle living in MUMBAI,Matunga not that far from prabhadevi is getting very poor service and being over meterd too.


My advice for all u users whu post information about some ISP being good or bad please mention your Location too.

I use Reliance 300UL plan for 650P.M, I guess that's some promotional price because they didn't charge installation or security depost, Else it's 799... They gave base phone also, which i don't use... Download speed is 32-40 KBPS... I'm satisfied with reliance..Till now

No SMS language please. I am letting this pass for now.

Reliance will be better than MTNL for unlimited plans. But check whether your area is covered by them.

Yes, I was looking for some temporarily connection as my stay at new place wasn't certain, But everyone demanded a huge amount of Installation + Deposit, also don't want mobile broadband also... But one fine day this offers knocked my door and i accepted it

I'm not facing any prob till now, But who knows

No problem. My intention is to make people get out of this habit. Sometimes in fun threads is OK but if SMS typing becomes a habit:

- you will loose all grammatical sense
- spellings will be atrocious
- it will be bad for your professional career

(believe me, I have seen it happen and a junior getting severely reprimanded).

I need exact location, Because i called them to give my friend a new connection, Who also lives in andheri east(Marol, Near Seepz), But he said that offer was open for certain specific area, Luckily my area comes under their promotional offer...
