Default Configurinng Wireless router with Reliane Broadnet

    Hi Friends,

I am new here and browsed through couple of posts, found some post asking for help regarding configuration of wireless router with Rel Broadnet. Thought would share my experience.

I am using Buffalo WCR-G54 router. I have a setup such that I use my wired network to connect my desktop and wifi to connect my laptop.

Would like to share the config I use.
Attached is the image file with all the required settings.
Did not manually configure any of these settings, the IP, DNS everything is automatically assigned to the router.

I use internet on my laptop and desktop at the same time.

Please reply if you need any more assistance and will be glad to help if possible.

    thanks

Default problem configuring buffalo wcr-g54 router to bsnl smartax882 modem

    Dear friend,

I had been trying to configure the buffalo router to my modem for the past two days but in vain.
I tried the direct setup done by the airstation manager. But finally said network connection failed in the last step.
    I tried to configure manually.
    The following is my configuration
Modem: direct connection (not bridged mode)

    Ip 192.168.11.90
Primary and secondary dns : 61.96.1.69,61.96.1.71

PC (Tried both automatic ip configure and also configured manually)

    Manual Configuration:
    Gateway : 192.168.11.90
    Ip : 192.168.11.3
Primary and secondary dns : 61.96.1.69,61.96.1.71

    And router:
    Gateway : 192.168.11.90
    Ip (unaltered): 192.168.11.1
Primary and secondary dns : 61.96.1.69,61.96.1.71

Changed the dhcp record finding from 64 to 128 as my gateway ip falls in 90

When i try to connect it says failure in dhcp settings.

    Any help would be greatful
