    Default Terrible experience with Reliance Broadnet -- Pls see

    Hello everyone, i am new to the forum that is why the error with he previous post while i figure out how this is used...

    My reliance broadnet (600 kbps UNLIMITED plan) stopped working on 9th july 2009(, not to mention several days of interrupted service in the previous months.) I filed a complaint no. with reliance on 30337777 and was allotted a complaint no. (103450707) Then i was told that somebody will check by coming to my house. For two days no one showed up, so i called reliance reminding them of the complaint i had filed, so i get a call from a technician the same day that he is coming. Of course, he doesnt show up and he comes the next day. He spent what around 5 hours doing something on my system and he finally leaves looking distraught (or maybe that is just his face) saying the antenna needs to be replaced. ...(After that I have been CALLING RELIANCE EVERYDAY AND FOR SOME DAYS I HAVE CALLED 2-3 TIMES TELLING THEM that my internet connection needs to be repaired. )...
    The guy of course didnt show up for 1 week, and something clicked 1 inch above my head and i decided to tell the reliance ppl to let me speak to a senior executive. To my surprise they let me speak quite easily. He listened and told that the guy will be there soon as he and his team are now overlooking the matter. Next day, I get a call from reliance asking whether i had a filed a complaint. They said due to the rains in Mumbai there was a shortage of antennas and when asked if they could give me a date when the antennas would finally be available they said no. So next day the guy finally shows up (ahaaa!) with the new sparkling antenna (maybe i a m just exaggerating BUT i think we all need cheer). He again spent some 5 hours fidgeting with my system including a few hammers that he whacked on the old antenna. He finally by night says the internet is working. I walk up to my system to check. Google.com, yes, fast enough, good. He says he decided no to put the new antenna and did something o the old antenna. It didnt matter to me as long as the internet is working. Ofcourse, half an hour after he is gone the internet again is not working and I am on the phone again with reliance telling them that I have a problem. The guy had closed the previous complaint so they filed a new complaint for fixing the problem.
    and i called them lots of times (everyday 1 time atleast as I have written earlier) to tell them that there is a problem. So finally they sent another guy (all knowing what the problem is i.e. the antenna needs to be changed) to inspect the system. He ofcourse does his own share of fidgeting before leaving saying that the antenna probably needs to be changed. if you are getting fried reading this, then imagine my status is worse. ok so after lots of days the same guy who cam first shows with lots of antennas. He again tries different stuff different tactics but to no avail as nothing seems to work. so he leaves saying that another guy is going to come to try to fix it.
    you see, i have been calling reliance all this while
    some of their standard answers are
    "don't worry we will get the problem resolved within given timeframe"
    if you try to interject trying to tell him the problem they won't listen and cut you and close the conversation. i have spoken to different ppl in the reliance cc deepti, preeti, sandeep, sanjeev, mukim, sunanda and lots of people,whose names i don't know. The guy who comes to my place the technician his name is Keerti and his boss's name is milan. i actually new that reliance cc really sucks b'coz of bad experience with reliance netconnect card but i didnt know it was so bad. It is worst than a psu. Now i regret changing from mtnl. I THOUGHT IF I HAANGE FDROM GOVT COMPANY TO PVT COMPANY ATLEAST SOME SERVICE WILL BE BETTER.
    OFCOURSE, THE shameless reliance people still answer the phone
    " heallo reliance cc, this is ## speaking, ho can i help you....... oh you have a complaint...oh it is not working since 9 th july oh so sorry i see you had filed a new complaint on 23 july and we promised it would be resolved within 24 hours and it has not been resolved so i will make sure the problem is resolved....... "don't worry we will get the problem resolved withing given timeframe" i have forwarded your complaint.
    the senior executive say something like this "my team is personally overlooking this and i will make sure the problem is resolved"
    the technicians who come to my house have NO CLUE whatsoever about what they are doing, what is the problem and what needs to be done.
    reliance broadnet least cares if you get internet aCCESS OR not.
    if you have filed a complaint with reliance and the complaint hasnt been answered within 1 week i would advise you to immediately register with another provider and request the reliance connection to be cancelled.
    i had prepaid them for 4 months of internet including installation and registration fee hardly 2 months have passed.

    it must be noted that i almost always try to get them speak to a senior executive because the junior representatives simply don't do anything they just forward your complaint. of course even after constantly speaking to the senior executives and they giving assurances nothing has been done.

    somebody also posted something about anil ambani. i wud agree with him, i think the company was better off when it was under mukesh ambani.
