Thread: New plans from Reliance to beat Airtel

I heard this from one of my friends that Reliance is coming with brand new attractive plans to counter Airtel which came up with new high speed broadband plans a couple of days ago. The supposed plans are like this...

300kbps Unlimited -> Rs. 499/-
600kbps Unlimited -> Rs. 749/-
1000kbps Unlimited -> Rs. 999/-

Is it true??
If yes from when?

i just want to know what they are doing about their existing cc.

may be they will hike the salaries of cc executives

plz confirm if this is true cause im switching from MTNL to Airtel

Reliance can alwayz mention things on paper only!! Its worh that only!!

I know what is the service of Reliance and how they cheat the consumers!! I have sued reliance for deficiency of services and the case is pending in the Consumer Forum!! whereas I am using Airtel from past 3-4 years and they provide service within 24 hours!!!!!

If I have to answer that based on my experience I will defiintely say YES!!


Airtel- Using it for 3-4 years!! no Problem at all!! Even when there is some minor issue and called customer care service is provided within 24 hours!! The engineer always gives his no. and insist that you call him directly instead of customer care so that service can be provided quickly!!

Reliance- Pathetic service!! Sold the product! False things mentioned on brochures which arent given ever!! Wrong plans activated!! Called customer care 8-10 times!! Written 5 mails to them!! No use!! Filed a Case in Consumer court!! Still they are not ready to accept their fault and try to put all the blame on customer!! Bribed the lawyer and won the case!! X-(........I have filled the case again in state court and would fight it now myself!!

My problems get solved within 2hrs.
Why u say Reliance is Pathetic????
M using Reliance Broadband from past 1 yr.
Didn't faced any problem of disconnection.
Latency is just awesome.
I faced only one problem that was too cleared in less than 2hrs.

Well I guess you missed out the fact I already mentioned that I had also written 5 mails!! apart from numerous phone calls which I cant even remember now!!

And any1 interested in knowing about reliance service can just do a google search "reliance broadband complaints" without the quotes to get better info!!

if its true...then we are getting better day by day in comparison to the Broadband plans in Pakistan.[ptcl]
a friend of mine was saying PTCL has doubled the Speed in the Existing Plan charges.

if u have a 512 kbps plan for 1000 bucks..now u wil get 1MBps in the same rate.
and 1Mbps to 2Mbps

Wow, this will be a game changer, I hope this is true!!!
Problems with cc and response remain, but still juicy plans for those for whom it works.

no dear, you don't buy a product hopiing that by fluke you will get a no defect copy. of course reliance IS a connection where everything is RAM BHAROSE, your visit to the temple might increase and your faith in God might increase (read my signature)

reliance really doesnt have anything AGAINST anyone
so, i wud not recommend Reliance to anyone who needs advice on a new connection

Oh lolz!! Well I guess you missed that part too!!!!!! Bcoz I had written that b4 mailing them 5 times I have also called them numerous times....atleast 10-15 times!! And mails are better than Phone calls bcoz MAILS ARE ADMISSIBLE PROOF IN THE COURT!! while I cant say that they promised something on phone but didnt do coz ultimately as some1 above also mentioned " Its wrong to expect that your plan would work without a problem"

ull have to be anil ambanis relative to get good service reliance

CURSE reliance and airtel & MTNL too

AIRTEL n RELIANCE both do not offer service in my area

im stuck with MTNL

the MTNL connection is amazing

not even 10sec downtime. always UP !!! and constant 200kbps

but as i have the 890NU scheme. they are looting me during day time charges. they are SKY HIGH

im sure i am being overmetered

STUCK between poor broadband companies i am ..

i wish some big private company dedicated only to INTERNET (not mobile service providers) launches amazing BB service ... and we all njoi it

What is more- Reliance is known for closing the complaint without even resolving the problem !! It is so saddening/maddening
