Smile Reliance Hyderabad: Torrents Currently being downloaded

Hi, all hyderabad reliance users. I think most of u know about torrents and local peer concept in that where the network users of same ISP in a same area will get high speeds of torrent downloads.

So, How about we start a new thread and shoutout what we are downloading so that others can also seed or share what they have?

For example If user X has downloaded Spiderman, then if users Y and Z start downloading the same torrent, then chances are there for them to get more speed from X and their download may be completed within hours regardless of their connection speed.

This is because we dont have a dc++ reliance hub in hyd.
will the above thing work fine?
    any suggestions?

Good idea but complex to implement Can still try.
The legalities of the forum may come in the way too...

I think you have enough guides on the net, including on the soundforge DC++ site. Does not seem too complex, as long as you can have a sharing pc up and a url from no-ip.com etc., that maps permanently to your dynamic IP.

And if you do create one, keep the sharing limit quite low so that more people can join in.

The technical mechanisms, be it torrents or DC++ are perfectly legal.
It all depends on what materials are being shared. That said, in a DC++, you will not need to publish what you are sharing on this forum, like you proposed (the Spiderman) for torrents - since anyone connecting to the hub will see the listing there. Specifying what hub is available for connecting should be okay from this forum's perspective.

But then, I am just a member on this forum and this is just my opinion.

Any person who knowingly infringes or abets the infringement of-
    (a) the copyright in a work, or
    (b) any other right conferred by ... blah blah ...

Well, lets just say its not perfectly legal :P
